Fortnightly Creative Discovery and Sharing workshops

We are proud to host Pastel and Soul’s fortnightly art reflection workshops at Manzana.

Pastel and Soul is an art community run by Manzana member Lynley Tan. Throughout the workshop, Lynley takes you through a creative meditation with a strong focus on storytelling and self-discovery. Lynley shares a strong value for self-identity and inclusivity in our community and sees the beauty of sharing this with others.

Workshops are every fortnight on Saturdays, 6.30-8.30 pm. Sign up via the links for the following dates:

Bring a friend and your favourite art medium (though supplies will be provided if you have none!)

The focus is on process over product! No art skills or experience is required.

About Pastel and Soul:

“I am a great believer in self-discovery and bringing communities together through art. Last year, I had the privilege of interviewing many everyday Aucklanders about their hopes and bringing them to life through watercolor paintings. I also ran free reflective workshops in parks during summer, which greatly impacted our local community.

Our attendees (myself included) have found these workshops to be really healing, as it provides a safe space to share what's on our hearts figuratively through art, offload, and inspire/encourage one another.”
